Happy Easter!

What a fun time of celebration with family. We had a wonderful time starting the day with church and a time to remember most importantly Christ and his sacrifice for us. Then we headed to Great Grandpa and Grandma Guth's for lunch. My family came over for the afternoon and then we headed to the Great Grandpa and Grandma Kennell's for an Easter egg hunt and supper.

Haddie and Sierra put on their Easter dresses and each had a suprise waiting for them when they came out for Breakfast! Sierra has a new rubber ducky and Haddie got some wonderful sidewalk chalk which we weren't able to try out because of the snow :(

Brendon and Sierra share a laugh at Great Grandma Guth's lunch.

Here they are, the newly expanded Gifford family. Melissa's fiance, Lucas, and Sierra are both new additions to our family pictures.

Sierra is SOOO close. She will be crawling before we know it!!

Haddie and Sierra trying out mommy's old "naughty chair." I'm sure I never used it much! :)

Sierra and Great Grandpa Kennell share a moment. Who's giving Sierra bunny ears?

Brendon and Haddie out collecting eggs at Great Grandpa Kennell's. She found quite a few even though some were covered in snow. We hope all your Easter was wonderful too!

Oh the Weather Outside is Frightful...and so is Haddie's Hair!

Well, now that warmer weather is finally on it's way, here are some pictures of the girls entertaining themselves indoors. They have both been sick some lately so we have been at home a lot. We are all looking forward to playing outside again soon.

This picture is Haddie and Sierra playing on the changing table. Sierra just loves to watch Haddie and laugh.

Haddie and Sierra playing with farm animals and stickers. Haddie just woke up from her nap and has some scary hair!

Sierra enjoying her cereal. What fun is food if you can't get it all over your face?

Our happy girl!

Winter Gardening

On Saturday, Haddie, Sierra and I went to visit Great Grandma and Grandpa Guth. We had a great time, and I decided to let Haddie play outside for just a couple of minutes as I got Sierra in the car to go. She has been asking to go outside for days! She was so excited that she ran straight for Great Grandma's garden. Since we had a bit of a warm spell, the ground had thawed enough that the garden was pretty muddy. I tried to catch her before she reached the garden, but she is fast! About halfway across the garden, her shoes got stuck in the mud and she couldn't move. She stood in the middle of the garden in mud up to her ankles trying to lift her feet. It was so funny to see her stuck in the mud! I got her out, put her shoes in a bag and headed home to get cleaned up. Funny stuff!
The pictures are of Haddie and Brendon playing in our barn last fall.
