Okay, so today I had a little scare. Haddie and I were cleaning up after lunch before naptime. I cleaned up the table and was moving on to the living/toy room when I saw my birth control pills sitting on the table. Whoops, I thought, and stashed them in my back pocket until I had a chance to put them away in the kitchen. Well, while we were picking up toys, Haddie managed to get the pills out of my pocket and actually got one pill out and ate it. She thought it was a smartie, her favorite candy. So, naturally, I was worried. After a call to my mom (a nurse) and then one to poison control, just to be sure, I am happy to report that a single pill does not have any adverse effects on an infant or small child. Apparently the pill works as it is built up in your system over an extended period of time. Whew!! That was my daily dose of drama. Who am I kidding; with a 2 year old and a 9 month old, there is always drama :)

Brendon's family invited us to a bonfire last week, and we had a wonderful time. The weather was so beautiful and the girls loved being outside for the evening.
